This is probably the most covered hardware project on the SVJU blog. The D-Fuser is a mixer that together with the HD video switcher 1T-CT-750 from TV One makes the most affordable HD mixing solution for visualists.

No one could have imagined that it would take this long time to make the D-Fuser ready for production but the time is finally here. The site will open on the 17th of August, orders will be taken August 24th – August 31st and production will start on September 1st. Bookmark the site, set your calendar and get your money sorted.

I started VJing in 2003 after being introduced to the topic by my friend, the digital artist, Marius Watz. “My style can be expressed as intensively colorful compositions with rhythm based animations of images and particles combined with a modest amount of video loops. I try not to continuously fill upp the whole screen with graphics in an attempt to illuminate the feel of a square screen. I work mostly with my own material that occasionally gets mixed up with stuff from the lost and found department. I like programming my own modules for Modul8, my favorite VJ software.”

  1. You just have to wait until August 17th to get more facts. As I understand people who order between August 24-31 will get units from the first batch. I don’t know if he will/can finance a production run by himself and stock it, that’s a valid question however, I will make sure to rely it to Toby.
